Director of Building Services

Water’s Edge Rehab & Nursing Center at Port Jefferson is seeking a Director of Building Services to join their team. 

Director of Building Services Responsibilities:

• The Director will be ensuring that the resident’s rooms are in good repair, as well as ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment and help maintain the grounds.
• The Director of Building Services will be overseeing the Maintenance and Housekeeping department as well.
• The Director will help to develop the work schedules of the staff and inspect their work to make sure they are meeting the facility’s cleanliness expectations.
• The Director will also make sure that the staff complies with infection control procedures.

Director of Building Services Requirements:

• Candidates for this position must have at least 3-5 years of experience working as a Director in Maintenance and Housekeeping within a Nursing Home or Hospital setting as well as have excellent communication skills, be personable and able to multi-task very well.

Salary: Up to $90,000 a year
