Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to oversee the maintenance operations of our Nursing Home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management and possess expertise in a variety of technical areas.
• Duties:
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, strategies, and programs to ensure efficient operation of all systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage budgets, inventory, and equipment procurement related to maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance needs.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and maintenance history.
• Conduct Preventative maintenance checks and keep logs
• Handle State inspections
• Experience:
• Proven experience in maintenance management, overseeing a team of technicians.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, logic controllers, and high-voltage equipment.
• Previous experience in facilities management and working with CMMS software is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to fabricate solutions when needed.
