Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Admissions Director to join our team. The Admissions Director plays a vital role in our facility, serving as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families. This individual will be responsible for guiding families through the admissions process, ensuring a smooth transition into our facility, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Admissions Process Management: Oversee the admissions process from initial inquiry to move-in, ensuring a seamless experience for residents and their families.
Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective residents and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have with empathy and professionalism.
Assessment and Eligibility Determination: Conduct thorough assessments of prospective residents to determine eligibility for admission, collaborating with medical staff and other stakeholders as needed.
Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all admission documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Marketing and Outreach: Develop and implement strategies to market the facility to potential residents and referral sources, participating in community events and networking activities as appropriate.
Coordination of Care: Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to coordinate care plans for incoming residents, ensuring their needs and preferences are communicated effectively.
Budget Management: Work closely with the finance department to manage the admissions budget effectively, optimizing revenue while maintaining high standards of care.
Training and Development: Provide training and support to admissions staff to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their roles effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in healthcare admissions, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to admissions and documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
