Our Urgent Care is hiring a
Site Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a practice that is passionate about patient & clinical care. Prior experience in Urgent or Emergency care is preferred, but we are open to explore site managers with other backgrounds, and help build careers as well.
Primary Responsibilities: INVENTORY : Taking account of inventory, responsible for determining what and when to order supplies and the organization of supplies in the stock room and maintaining the exam room organization.
PROTOCOLS AND POLICIES : Keeping up with DOHMH protocol and regulation and communicating effectively to the staff, any changes that could affect their performances and what is expected of them.
PATIENT CARE : Available for in-person patient interaction, strong bedside manner and communication skills that would reflect positively in any patient facing interactions. Being able to navigate complaints and disgruntled patients and an ability to identify and de-escalate situations when patients are upset, confused, frustrated, etc.
COMMUNICATION : Acting point of contact for payroll and upper level management, must be available for phone calls, in person on video based meetings. High vigilance for any information being passed up and down the chain of command. Expected to respond to requisition, questions, clarification, etc. in an appropriate time frame. Must communicate with language and attitude appropriate for a health care based setting.
SITE OPERATIONS : Responsible for maintaining workflow and making any necessary adjustment to maximize efficacy of care, safety and positive experiences for both patient and your staff. Reach out to nearby businesses, schools, and facilities introducing our services and location as a building block for the neighborhood.
SCHEDULING : Responsible for creating monthly schedules and reporting schedules to appropriate management within the necessary timeframes dictated. Finding coverage as needed and making necessary arrangements to ensure the work flow is minimally affected.
TRAINING : Must be familiar with the workflow required to operate the site. Clearly communicate what is expected of individual staff members depending on their role and credentials. Training new hires to assimilate into that work flow and to ensure familiarity with all aspects a staff member's credentials would indicate they know.
DISCIPLINARY ACTION : Must be able to understand when and how to intervene in any personnel issues that may arise. Execute any necessary disciplinary action in a timely and concise manner that correlates to company policy, ethics compliance, and legal parameters. Must be willing and comfortable consulting with direct supervision for any guidance needed should any issue need support or further clarification.
