The Receptionist will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The Receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, and additional clerical duties. All core duties and responsibilities are subject to periodic revision.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the office ensuring a smooth transition of information, resources, and paper flow.
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate personnel.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
- Receives incoming mail and forwards to Operations Director
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating
- Maintain update roster of patients
- Maintains daily management of the program
- Maintain and ensure confidentiality of all records and correspondence
- File paperwork in patient charts as necessary
- Assist in maintaining agency compliance with NYC HRA STARS
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Maintains customer care service and professional conduct
- Business attire is worn in the workplace at all time
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of related work experience

- Exceptional computer skills (specifically: Excel, Word, PPT)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experienced with EMR/EHR
