We are seeking an experienced
Social Work Director to join our Skilled Nursing Facility in
Camillus, NY.
Responsibilities: - Lead, develop, and oversee all functions of the Social Services Department
- Conduct assessments, create care plans, and support residents in adjusting to the facility
- Supervise and guide department staff
- Develop discharge plans from the start of admission
- Engage in community outreach as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Utilize strong judgment, creativity, and problem-solving skills to achieve department goals
Requirements: - Licensed Social Worker (LSW) - Master's in Social Work (MSW) required
- 2+ years of management experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of state and federal guidelines
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
