Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a Medical Records/Central Supply Clerk to work at our Skilled Nursing Facility in Albany, NY.

Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities:

Organize, process, and maintain accurate medical records for each resident.
Properly close out medical charts as they are submitted.
Copy and send medical charts to attorneys upon request.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of medical records.
Verify the accuracy and accessibility of files.
Maintain and update electronic health records databases.
Track patient safety data, disease patterns, and treatment outcomes.
Release medical information as permitted by regulations.
Conduct regular audits and thin medical charts as needed.
Handle filing, paperwork, and photocopying tasks.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer proficiency.
Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
Experience in long-term care or healthcare settings preferred.
Friendly, team-oriented attitude.
